Rule a City in Urban Empire

Urban Empire isa city-building game that places you into the shoes of a metropolitan elite. It will be your task to ensure that the city survives and prospers, and this will not be easy. To come out on top, you will have to indulge in a range of schemes to make sure that you stay ahead of your opponents...

200 Years of Gaming

In Urban Empire, you control not merely one character, but a 200-year-old mayoral dynasty. The game starts in the 1820s, the first of five eras in which you will be playing. You will control your city as it evolves over two centuries, and will be faced with all manner of social developments, technological advances and world-shaking events along the way. You can choose between five different mayoral families, each with its own specific set of priorities: some focus on social justice, for example, while others focus on science and technology.

Ruling, not Building

Urban Empire departs from the typical city building game by focusing on ruling a city, rather than building it from scratch. It will be job to ensure that your citizens are safe and contented with their lot. Along the way you will be faced with more than 1000 dynamic events, meaning that you cannot afford to get complacent - you never know what tomorrow will bring! Do you have what it takes to keep your city thriving over 200 years?
